As he continues his rise, Conor Matthews is strutting through on his new single "Way Out."

The new track, which arrived today, has a different vibe, with an almost R&B-meets-country swagger, very much in the vein of Sam Hunt, with a big radio sound from the up-and-coming singer.

"'Way Out' is a prequel to the story," says Matthews. "Toxic relationships are the hardest to let go of. You move on from your ex. You start seeing other people, and then you rekindle an old flame. She breaks up with her new guy when you’re in town. It’s an upbeat summer jam."

The new song is a preview of Matthews' upcoming Heartbreak in the Hills EP, which is expected this summer.
