Danish R&B pop duo WIINSTON is back with new music, and they're diverging into new territory with their splashy new single "Time."

Whereas some of their previous material has been consistently on the side of simmering bedroom gems, the duo made up of singer Daniel Richards and producer Alfred Thomas is going for a bigger sound this time, apparently drawing inspiration from the early 2000's guitar-punk of Blink-182 and Sum41.

”We suddently toplined on something that reminded us of those immortal guitar-riffs that keep even the most horrible 20-year old high school B-movie afloat," says WIINSTON. "It has become a strange but amazing paradox between our roots in urban music and a smashed punk-pop track."

WIINSTON has had our attention since their debut back in 2018, and this new music follows their 2018 debut project MIDNIGHT ROCKET as well as their new album JELLYFISH, which arrived back in June.
