Newcomer Julian Karlsson (aka Selmer) is starting the weekend with a new song. The Oslo-based artist shared his new single "New Me" today and it's a worthy listen with its velvet groove and funk-infused core.

"I wrote 'New Me' in between takes of the 'Thinking Freely' music video," he says, referencing his recent single. "The song is about my transition from being a vulnerable teenager to becoming a young adult, where pretty cool things started to happen in my life. It’s the soundtrack of my life’s turning point."
