There's a lot happening in the world, and a lot of it isn't great, so it's that much more appreciated to have artists continuing to make music, whether to help us stay focused or help us escape.

New York-based producer Past Palms is back with new music had already planned to release a new EP titled Vernal on Friday, timed with spring equinox. And that seems like perfect timing.

As we previously mentioned, Past Palms has described the lo-fi creations as music to water your plants to, as a resident in New York City surrounded by skyscrapers but creating an indoor "oasis of tropical houseplants," which served as the home studio where the new EP was crafted.
