Emerging artist Nicki Fehr (aka Prayer) has released his debut project Violet, which is a spellbinding series consisting of eight ethereal and otherworldly offerings.

Having grown up in the United States and moving to Berlin in 2013, Fehr has developed a craft as a composer and performer in dance and theatre as well as stints in multiple bands. He has long been fascinated with Eastern devotional music and its pure intentions and serenity, which led into what ultimately became Violet.

"These songs came from a place deep within me and at the same time from another sphere," says Prayer of the new album. "Now my little babies have a life of their own. I hope you like them.⁣"

The songs are at times very complex and consuming and at other times whispering and minimal. It creates a space which is both mysterious and inviting.
