South London producer and instrumentalist Wu-Lu definitely has our attention this weekend.

He has just released his new S.U.F.O.S. EP (it stands for "Save Us From Ourselves"). And while it's only five songs clocking in around 19 minutes long, it's really quite impressive.

The new release builds on the sounds he showcased on his 2018 N.A.I.S. ("Not As It Seems") EP as he threads together hip-hop, funk and jazz while offering social commentary on issues such as racial injustice and black empowerment.
