Kelis is embracing the food porn vibe with her new song "Midnight Snacks," the singer's first solo song in seven years.

The first release since her 2014 album Food, the track continues her coincidental food theme with a very food-centric video for the sultry new cut.

According to a press note, someone recently pointed out to Kelis she was always talking about food in her songs. "I was like, do I?" she laughs. "I mean, obviously I do. It isn't intentional, but the idea is just that food is a very carnal thing. Everyone can relate to it. It's very human, it's sensual, it's something that you crave. And it's sexy."
