The addictive new single arrived Wednesday alongside a video directed by Bobby Coffman. The track is the first from the rising artist's upcoming EP, which is eyeing a release this summer. And it delivers just the perfect summer vibes, of course.
According to Sally Boy, the new song is about compartmentalizing a toxic relationship by reducing it to a board game. Plays "clear the board, reassemble the pieces, play again and again," he says. "There’s something sinister in the repetition and ease with which we play these games — constantly telling yourself that this is the last time you’re willing to play, that this is the last game. Yet, we always seem to fall back into the same routine."
The new music follows Sally Boy's debut EREZ project, which arrived last year. And it seems he won't be slowing down anytime soon.
