Conan Gray, Lauv in 'Fake' video

Known for their music that focuses on mental health, interpersonal relationships and coming-of-age issues, pop singer-songwriters Lauv and Conan Gray have collaborated and released visuals to their newest song titled “Fake."

After both released their 2020 albums, Lauv's ~how i'm feeling~ and Gray's Kid Krow, "Fake" marks the first song that Lauv and Gray have worked on together and the first song that Gray has collaborated with another artist. Produced by Johnny Simpson and Lauv, the track is backed with warm acoustics and echoing vocals as it addresses people with social insecurities who struggle not only being themselves but also being a good person.

Directed by Jason Lester, the video features Gray and Lauv transitioning through various scenic backgrounds in extravagant cheetah print outfits as they have pillow fights, dodge sparklers, and a jump on bounce house throughout the video.
