After sharing his new single "Tints" last week, Anderson .Paak on Wednesday night confirmed his new album Oxnard will be out in just a few short weeks.
Appearing as a special guest on Peter Rosenberg's Open Late talk show, .Paak revealed the new project, the followup to his 2016 debut Malibu, will be released Nov. 16 via Aftermath Entertainment.
"Everything we made for Malibu we made from the dirt. We had the bare minimum," said .Paak in a recent interview discussing the album. "Fast forward two years—now, it’s trying to keep that same mentality, but when you have everything. When you’ve been eating calamari and lobster, when you’ve been going to festivals and playing for 40,000 people. You finally have a tour bus. You have two kids now, and a wife to support. You’re trying to keep the same principles you had when you just had a couch."
The new record will include his newest single "Tints," a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar.
