Donald Glover fans, rejoice.
The actor-musician is taking the Saturday Night Live stage next month. Quite literally. He'll serve as host and musical guest on the May 5 episode of the NBC sketch comedy series.
NBC confirmed the news late Saturday evening (April 14) during its John Mulaney-hosted episode.
Glover's appearance comes as the second season of his FX hit Atlanta is currently underway. But it certainly isn't a coincidence that his Childish Gambino persona will be performing, as he is expected to share new music soon.
Last month, he confirmed he's hitting the road in September. With the SNL date, it would seem new material is only a matter of days away.
The timing also lines up perfectly for Glover's upcoming role in Solo: A Star Wars Story, which hits theaters on May 25.
