Foo Fighters' New Album, 'Sonic Highways,' Due Nov. 10

Following a number of hints and teasers, Foo Fighters have revealed their new album, titled Sonic Highways, will arrive on Nov. 10 worldwide.

The LP is available now for pre-order in CD and vinyl formats, the latter of which will come in a selection of nine unique covers themed for the cities in which the album was recorded: Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle, and Washington, D.C..

Coming in at just over 44 minutes, the 8-track set was produced by Butch Vig and Foo Fighters. It is being released in the U.S. on Roswell Records/RCA Records.

As we previously reported, Dave Grohl and Co. will also premiere an eight-episode series of the same name Oct. 17 at 11 p.m. on HBO.

Although a press release doesn't mention specific guest appearances, the likes of Chuck D, Gary Clark Jr., Carrie Underwood and Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen are expected to be featured in some form.
