Drake may be a rapper, but when it comes to sports, he's clearly "doing it wrong."
As evidenced by his recent gig hosting the ESPYs, he's certainly good about finding ways to inject himself into American sports culture—be it his bromantic support of Johnny Manziel or his allegiance to the University of Kentucky's basketball program.
Unfortunately, it appears his latest stunt may have cost the Toronto Raptors a $25,000 fine. According to ESPN, the MC's comments about Kevin Durant last week at OVO Fest were in violation of the NBA's anti-tampering rules.
As we previously reported, Drake closed the fest by thanking Durant for attending and explaining that he "just wanted to see what would happen if he came to play in Toronto."
While Drake may have simply been joking, he is technically a global team ambassador for the Raptors, one of several teams reportedly trying to lure the Oklahoma City Thunder star when he becomes a free agent in 2016.
