On the same day Rihanna pulled out of next month's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, it seems the singer's reasoning might be tied to plans for her long-awaited album, ANTI.

Billboard reported Tuesday evening the singer—who has delayed the LP for months—is plotting a December release, although she is still making final tweaks.

Managed by JAY Z's Roc Nation, Rihanna is also said to be working on a $25 million deal with Samsung for her album and tour. Interestingly, Jay also partnered with the electronic brand to give Galaxy owners free copies of his 2013 album, Magna Carta... Holy Grail.

Perhaps taking another page out of the Carter handbook, Billboard also noted ANTI could come without any advance announcement, à la Beyoncé's self-titled album, which arrived in December 2013 without notice.

Rihanna's last album, Unapologetic, was released three years ago this month, marking her longest span between albums.
