Thom Yorke's new album 'ANIMA' is coming next week

Well, now it's definitely official. After months of teasing and following a handful of one-off tracks, Thom Yorke confirmed Thursday his new album ANIMA will be out on June 27, just over a week from today.

The Radiohead frontman wrote and produced the upcoming record alongside Nigel Godrich. A vinyl edition will also be released, with both that and the original version out on XL Recordings.

In addition to the music, Yorke will release a "one-reeler" or short film, also titled ANIMA and directed by Yorke's past collaborator Paul Thomas Anderson. It will feature three tracks from the new album and will be available exclusively on Netflix the day of the album's release.

As we previously mentioned, Yorke performed a number of tour dates last year and he will kick off a new round in July, returning stateside this fall, including two weekends headlining Austin City Limits Music Festival.
