It's definitely getting real! On Wednesday, SXSW announced a new round of additions to its music lineup for the 2026 festival.
The updated lineup now includes the likes of Charley Crockett, Lainey Wilson, Passion Pit and Quinn XCII, as well as Los Lobos, Money Mark, MC Danny and Kairo Keyz. Interscope Records, Los Guitarrazos, Notting Hill Carnival, SoundOn Tiktok, Top Dawg Entertainment, TuneCore Japan and Universal Music México have also been added as showcase presenters.
Meanwhile, the SXSW conference schedule has added Vic Mensa, Curtiss King, Girl Tones and Kato On The Track. As of this writing, they are not listed as performers.
Today's additions follow last month's announcement which included Lola Young, Don Toliver, BigXthaPlug, Junior H and Mau P all joining the music festival lineup along with Adult Leisure, Cheap Perfume, HNRY FLWR, Zella Day, Wave Chapelle & NilexNile, Sun Room, Sex Mask, Lew Apollo, MORGAN, Samy Sharif and others.
As we previously mentioned, SXSW is set for March 12-18 in Austin, with music performances from the likes of The All-American Rejects, who will perform at the Music Festival Opening Party, hosted at Stubb’s Amphitheater on the first night, Thursday, March 12. The first wave of music acts announced back in November included Joyner Lucas, Hudson Freeman, Bayonne, Calder Allan, Glassio, Gus Englehorn, People R Ugly, Ben Ellis, Sūn Byrd, T-Low, Zastava, Brainwasher, Milo Korbenski, Aaron Page, AJ McQueen and more.
This year's SXSW, which will mark the 40th edition of the festival and conference, has long been expected to be less than conventional, as the Austin Convention Center (where SXSW typically sets up its headquarters and numerous panels) has been demolished and isn't set to be rebuilt until the end of 2028, barring any delays for the massive $1.6 billion project.
