After receiving a Christmas day gift of a second week at No. 1, Beyoncé's self-titled album looks safe for a third week at the top. Meanwhile, current tracking shows the LP has more than surpassed one million copies sold.

With a 10-day total of 991,000 copies sold in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, the pop star's latest effort closed out this week's charts only thousands shy of the platinum mark. But as Billboard is now reporting, Bey's album is still soaring, with sources suggesting it could sell as many as 250,000 units by Sunday night (Dec. 29), which is the end of the current tracking week.

At that rate, Mrs. Carter can proudly head into the new year with another platinum-selling record under her belt, in only two and a half weeks time. Once this week's sales are factored in, Beyoncé—currently the 12th biggest-selling album of 2013—should finish in the year's top 10 sellers. Not too bad.
