The frequently outspoken Lily Allen has once again taken her label to task over its handling of marketing for her forthcoming album, Sheezus.
With little over a month to go until the album's arrival (May 5), the singer told TV3.ie at Vogue Festival that "what you have heard on the radio station so far, the contribution of my album is very much the more beige, saccharine elements to what I have made."
She went on to add: "The reason for that is because the people in control of the radio stations, the people that are in control of the record companies, are too scared to put themselves on the line in case someone gets offended."
Earlier this month, Allen agreed with a Twitter critic who called her new singles "rubbish," noting that what's been released so far wasn't the album's best, because the labels were refusing to put out "the better stuff."
