Los Angeles-based artist Matthew James Burns (aka BURNS) is heading into the weekend with brand new music.

The producer on Friday dropped his shimmering, tropics-embracing cut "Angel," a delicate, three-minute track featuring a poignant vocal sample. And while the new track is out today, BURNS is already hinting at what's next in the pipeline.

"'Angel' is a palate cleanser to prep for the rest of the music,” he said of the new track. “The song really sets the stage. I wanted to hint there’s a much bigger picture on the horizon though."
