Variance favorite Austin Harms this week released his new You're Not Alone EP, a five-song project he's been teasing over the past few months.

Back in October, he opened a new chapter with his new song "depression," the first track off the newly released EP, which he has been unveiling one song at a time since then. The result is a truly intimate, very introspective project, one in which Harms opens up about his extremely personal journey, with the EP's title literally serving as a message of hope to listeners.

“I started writing You're Not Alone around the time I started seeing a therapist," recalls Harms. "I had just begun facing what I had been running from for so long. I didn’t fully realize it at the time but I was healing. It wasn’t pretty, and there were times when I struggled with suicidal ideations. I wrote these songs through that period of my life. The purpose behind it was to connect with those who are struggling, those who feel alone. I hope this project is a reminder for you that no matter what you’re feeling, no matter what you’re going through, you’re not alone.”
