Less than a week after releasing their new song "If You're Over Me," Years & Years have shared the video for the track.

The new clip is the second part of the narrative started back in March with the band's video for "Sanctify." It continues the tale set in a future metropolis called Palo Santo, which is also the title of Years & Years' upcoming sophomore album, which is out July 6 via Interscope Records.

As we previously mentioned, frontman Olly Alexander says the new song is about "trying to stay friends with an ex." He adds: "In my experience, the relationship often ends up ruined. ‘If You're Over Me’ is about the emotional torture that ensues—meeting up and making out, then breaking up all over again, then making out some more.”

The video for "If You're Over Me" continues to tease the upcoming album, which is described as "part full-blooded, escapist fantasia and part social comment ... [telling] their most intimate, personal stories; on identity, sexuality, performance, and ultimately, what it means to be human."
