Brynn Cartelli is here with new music today in the form of her new single "Gemini," and it's absolutely a keeper.

The massive new track surely showcases the singer's sonic inspiration by the likes of Florence Welch and Stevie Nicks, but there's also a distinctly brassy energy reminiscent of Dua Lipa. It's also accompanied by a self-directed video, marking the singer's directorial debut.

“The song ‘Gemini’ started off as a joke," says the 19-year-old singer. "I thought it would be funny to play into the dual-natured stereotype in a song; then I went to London and finished it. I wanted to lean into inspirations of women that inspired me since I was young, like Stevie Nicks and Florence Welch, but in my own pop sphere. I am so excited about how different ‘Gemini’ is than any of the songs on my first project [Based on a True Story]."

The singer, who first broke through four years ago as winner of NBC's The Voice, adds: "I’m leaning into the witchy energy of the East Coast and am scaring Geminis everywhere, which you can also see in the music video that I directed myself.”
