In case you haven't noticed, Jungle has slowly been building a perfect summer soundtrack as they charge quickly toward the release of their new album Loving in Stereo.

Today, they've shared their new song "Romeo," which is a collaboration with Dreamville rapper Bas. The new song, which is delightfully old school hip-hop, follows Jungle's previous standouts such as "Talk About It" and of course "Keep Moving," released earlier this year. They also teamed up with Diplo on the incredible jam "Don't Be Afraid," which is from the producer's own upcoming record.

“We’d never had a featured artist on a record before but Bas is part of the journey of this album and so it just had to make the cut,” explains Jungle's Josh Lloyd-Watson.

Bas adds: "I’ve always been on a mission to work with artists whose sounds and worlds inspire me beyond rap’s sonic landscape. Jungle has been high on that list," he says, recalling a few years back when their dressing rooms were near each other at a festival. "I was BIG LIT off tequila, so the voice in my head was like, ‘GO IN THERE N TELL THEM HOW DOPE THEY ARE.’ I burst in there like the Kool-Aid Man and did just that. We linked back up in London and now we got a tune. I guess the moral of the story is, listen to the tequila voice in your head?”

The new song is accompanied by a video co-directed by Lloyd and ongoing collaborator Charlie Di Placido. And as we previously mentioned, the full album is out on Aug. 13 via AWAL.
