Ahead of a new album out next month, Low Cut Connie has shared another new song called "Help Me."

The track arrived Tuesday, accompanied by a stripped down video (literally), which comes in censored and uncensored versions. It was directed by frontman Adam Weiner, who says Covid scrapped his initial plans for the clip. Instead, he is seen sweating and shirtless in front of a camera, later taking off his pants and dancing around in his underwear before exposing his bare backside.

"We had big plans for the video, an elaborate dance piece," he says. "But quarantine changed the deal. It became a no-frills, anti-production piece. Naked in every sense of the word. I brought all the psychic terrors of this time into the room and just tried to sweat it out.”

The new video follows the recent clip for "Stay As Long As You Like," which was also self-directed by Weiner and was an ode to the band's fans and pre-Covid days, comprised of old footage from shows, many of which evolved into sweaty dance parties.

"Help Me" is said to be a plea for understanding at a time when compassion seems to be running in short supply. It's the latest off Low Cut Connie's new record Private Lives, which is out Oct. 13 via Contender Records.
