This might come as a surprise, but Katy Perry has released another great single.
Her new song "Harleys in Hawaii" arrived Wednesday and it's a keeper. The new track is a breezy, hip-hop flavored cut, and while that might seem suspicious at first, Perry has managed to balance her strengths, delivering an infectious flow and showcasing her feathery vocals while not coming across as mawkish.
The sexy new track, which Perry wrote with her "Small Talk" collaborators Charlie Puth, Johan Carlsson and Jacob Kasher Hindlin, with Puth and Carlsson producing the song. It's accompanied by a steamy set of visuals shot in Hawaii—of course—and directed by Barcelona studio Manson.
"Harleys" follows the aforementioned "Small Talk" and "Never Really Over," both of which have proven Perry is currently in a sweet spot of really impressive new material, with this new track only furthering that argument.
