The Black Keys have also been added to the show's roster, and the Ohio duo will be performing "Gold on the Ceiling," the second single from 2011's El Camino.

They join the pop-rock trio fun.--who will perform with Janelle Monae--and rapper Wiz Khalifa for a night that's beginning to look like just as much music as movie. British comedian Russell Brand will host the event, which airs on MTV this Sunday (June 3) at 9 p.m. ET.

Kid Cudi (Project X), LMFAO (21 Jump Street), and The Chemical Brothers (Hanna) are all nominated for Best Music, along with College and Electric Youth (Drive) and Figurine (Like Crazy).
