The rise of electronic dance music is coming to the MTV Movie Awards, as Martin Solveig has been added the list of performers for the event. The "Hello" hitmaker will be serving as house DJ for the evening, remixing themes from iconic films, including Star Wars, Jaws and Pulp Fiction.

Amy Doyle, head of music and talent strategy at MTV, said in a statement: "Having a house DJ...will add an exciting new layer to the show and is a continuation of our full embrace of the EDM movement."

The Black Keys have also been added to the show's roster, and the Ohio duo will be performing "Gold on the Ceiling," the second single from 2011's El Camino.

They join the pop-rock trio fun.--who will perform with Janelle Monae--and rapper Wiz Khalifa for a night that's beginning to look like just as much music as movie. British comedian Russell Brand will host the event, which airs on MTV this Sunday (June 3) at 9 p.m. ET.

Kid Cudi (Project X), LMFAO (21 Jump Street), and The Chemical Brothers (Hanna) are all nominated for Best Music, along with College and Electric Youth (Drive) and Figurine (Like Crazy).
