With just over a month until the start of SXSW, the Austin festival has added a number of high-profile speakers to its 2017 lineup.
Festival organizers on Tuesday confirmed this year's lineup will now include Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, Julia-Louis Dreyfus and the cast of Veep, CNN anchor Jake Tapper, Fleetwood Mac's Mick Fleetwood, pop singer Kesha, Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk, Tinder founder Sean Rad, Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards, actor-producer Seth Rogen and Shark Tank investor Chris Sacca, among others.
The news comes on a busy day for Veep, as HBO also confirmed today the [fictional] comedy will return for its sixth season on April 16.
SXSW has also been adding to its music lineup in recent weeks. The 2017 event is set for March 10-19 in downtown Austin.
