In the middle of buzz surrounding his debut album and upcoming tour, rising Los Angeles-based singer Noah McBeth (aka NoMBe) stopped by to chat with Variance during SXSW in Austin.
He chatted about the new album They Might've Even Loved Me, which is out now on TH3RD BRAIN Records. He also discussed his decision to recruit an all-female band, admittedly inspired by the late music icon Prince, while also sharing his thoughts on his role in furthering equality within the music industry.
His interview premiered Thursday during Variance's first episode of our FutureSounds Radio show, an extension of our annual FutureSounds list of emerging artists to watch, of which NoMBe was among the 2018 selections.
