After weeks of reports and speculation, the NFL confirmed Sunday night Justin Timberlake will indeed headline the 2018 Super Bowl.

Next year's Super Bowl LII is set for Feb. 4 at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. This will be his third time performing at a Super Bowl halftime show, following Super Bowl XXXV in 2001 with 'N Sync, Britney Spears, Nelly and more; then Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004, when he appeared alongside Janet Jackson and ripped off part of her costume, briefly exposing her right breast and nipple.

Technically Timberlake's first time to headline solo, he joins the likes of other recent Super Bowl halftime headliners, including Beyoncé, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Madonna, The Who, Bruce Springsteen and more.

This year's halftime show, which was headlined by Lady Gaga, was the most-watched ever.
