Almost exactly two years after the release of their third, Grammy-nominated album Melophobia, Cage the Elephant has announced plans to release their next LP, Tell Me I'm Pretty, which will arrive Dec. 18 on RCA Records.

The set, which is said to be some of the band's best work yet, was recorded at Nashville's Easy Eye Sound and produced by The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach.

"With this record, we wanted to be more transparent," said frontman Matt Shultz. "We wanted to capture the sentiment of each song, and whatever emotional response it provoked, to be really honest to that."

Tell Me I'm Pretty is available now for pre-order, as are a number of other items from the band, including deluxe bundles, postcards and T-shirts.
