Los Angeles vocalist-producer Mars Today has shared a lush new track titled "Cool It."

It's a sultry preview of Mars' upcoming Bits & Pieces EP, which will be released in May. And underscored by some Nico Segal-esque horn action, it's quite a jam.

"This song was written and recorded in my bedroom," the musician says about the new cut, calling it a "song about practicing the art of baby making."

Whether it's daytime or nighttime, "Cool It" is a versatile offering. And if it's any indication, the full EP is definitely something to watch out for in the coming weeks.
