As fans await a new album, Arcade Fire on Thursday released a new song "I Give You Power."

The Mavis Staples collaboration arrived today exclusively on Tidal, of which Arcade Fire's Win Butler and Régine Chassagne are among the streaming platform's co-owners.

According to tweets which have since been deleted, proceeds from the song will benefit the American Civil Liberties Union. "It’s never been more important that we stick together & take care of each other," one of the tweets read.

As we previously mentioned, the band's new album—their followup to 2013's Reflektor—is expected later this year, likely in the spring
