Alt-rock collective American Authors have released an anthemic new single entitled "Microphone." The upbeat track is about standing up for oneself and fighting to be heard in a world full of noise. Featuring quirky instrumentation, echoing emotive vocals and driving basslines, "Microphone" is a reminder to all of us to own our own power.

Since their 2012 emergence, the Brooklyn based four-piece have released a series of genre-blurring hits capturing the energy of rock 'n' roll with universal pop appeal. American Authors are also known for their dynamic live shows filled with goose-bump raising harmonies, banjo shredding and foot-stomping basslines.

Catch the collective on their upcoming nationwide tour with indie folk rock trio Magic Giant.
