As they continue their North American tour this week, Louis the Child on Wednesday released a new single called "Free."

The track, which is a glossy yet emotional portrait of a post-breakup reckoning, is a collaboration with fellow Variance favorite Drew Love of the duo THEY. It's just his latest first high-profile collaboration with a production duo, following his recent appearance on The Chainsmokers' hit "Somebody."

"Drew sent us the demo for this song and we fell in love immediately," says Louis The Child. "The lyrics felt so honest and we could really feel the emotion in his singing. We tried about 20 million different drops for this song because we knew we had to have the production match that same emotion. We’re so happy that this song is now ‘free’ and in the world for everyone to enjoy."

Hear "Free" below.
