It's Friday and there's plenty of new music to dive into, but here's an unexpected gem for your weekend.

Melbourne artist Mark Zito (aka Fractures) has released a new EP called Reset and it's kind of the perfect, warm and glowing project for a frosty winter afternoon. While it's only five tracks, it wanders seamlessly from pulsating, alt-rock fuzziness to synthy intimate cuts showcasing his intoxicating vocals.

According to Zito, this new project was inspired by a stagnant, indeterminable period in his life in which he was forced to "take stock of both what had come and what was coming," he says, adding: "The EP encapsulates something of an in-between and a shift to bigger and hopefully better things."

The Reset EP is out now via FADER Label and it can be heard below.
