It's been a long time coming, but Lauv on Thursday released the video for his standout debut single "The Other."

"I wrote this song in my basement in New York City while going through one of the most confusing and painful times of my life, my first real heartbreak," the Variance FutureSounds alum said of the song, which has amassed over 70 million plays on Spotify. "Reliving it all in one day for this video was an emotionally exhausting but cathartic experience."

The video arrives as Lauv recently announced a handful of "late nights, deep talks" shows, starting next month in Los Angeles.
