A week after posting a video "keeping it real" and begging fans to support his new album The Buffet, R. Kelly walked out of a live interview on Monday after things got too real.

In a chat with Huff Post Live, the singer dismissed the idea that past allegations might be linked to poor album sales. Instead, he blamed it on lack of support from his label and piracy.

When prompted again about his past, which includes multiple lawsuits and accusations of sex crimes and relationships with minors, the Grammy-winning vocalist grew increasingly hostile, cursing at host Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani and then ending the interview and walking off the set.

The Buffet—Kelly's 13th solo effort—which arrived with little promotion, still debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart.
