Kanye West will be taking the stage at this Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards. And he's apparently being given few restrictions.

According to TMZ, sources with knowledge of the show's production say MTV has given West "four minutes to do with as he pleases. He can rap, sing, dance or even just stay silent." And it appears even the producers have no insight into the rapper's plans.

West received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at last year's VMAs, where he publicly made nice with Taylor Swift before announcing a 2020 presidential run.

This year, West is once again feuding with Swift and his video for "Famous"—which depicts a nude version of the singer—is up for Video of the Year at the VMAs.

In addition to Ye, Sunday's VMAs performers include Future, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Britney Spears, G-Eazy, Nick Jonas and Ty Dolla $ign, as well as this year's Video Vanguard Award recipient Rihanna.

The VMAs will air Sunday (Aug. 28) at 9 p.m. EST, live on MTV.
