Kanye West will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this Sunday's MTV VMAs, the network revealed Tuesday.
Following in the footsteps of last year's winner Beyoncé and 2013's honoree Justin Timberlake, it's likely West will also perform during the telecast, although organizers did not immediately confirm such a performance.
As we previously reported, Miley Cyrus will host the VMAs, which air Sunday (Aug. 30) at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
