Ahead of his forthcoming major label debut on Top Dawg Entertainment/Interscope, ScHoolboy Q has announced a lengthy new tour schedule, which includes appearances at SXSW.
He will be joined by Isaiah Rashad and Vince Staples for the tour, which kicks off March 1 in Providence, R.I. He had widely been rumored to appear in Austin during SXSW, but the rapper confirmed it in a press release on Tuesday afternoon, in addition to a string of dates across Europe.
ScHoolboy Q first joined TDE in 2006, working with cohorts Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul, forming the group Black Hippy. His album, Oxymoron, arrives on Feb. 25.
The MC appeared at SXSW last year when he joined Lamar onstage briefly.
