Who says you can only release projects on Fridays? Certainly not joan.

The indie-pop duo made up of Alan Thomas and Steven Rutherford on Wednesday released portra, their debut EP. It includes their previously released standouts such as "Love Somebody Like You," "Tokyo" and their recent single "I Loved You First," in addition to new track "Stop and Stare" as well as a new rendition of their first single "Take Me On."

As we previously mentioned, joan is one of Variance's 2018 FutureSounds selections. The band, which is among indie label 20xx's first signees, recently toured with COIN and this fall they'll hit the road with Jeremy Zucker.
