After a show on Monday that was delayed due to a power outage, Brandon Flowers has canceled the remainder of his August tour dates.

A number of fans reported Wednesday afternoon that they had begun receiving notices of show cancellations from the promoter, which only cited "unforeseen circumstances" as the reason.

The Killers frontman is currently scheduled to tour through the month of September, followed by an appearance at Austin City Limits Music Festival in October.

At press time, a rep for Flowers had not yet replied to a request, but the promoter has verified that tickets purchased in advance will be refunded.
