If you only listen to one new album this week, it should be Young Fathers' Heavy Heavy, which is out Friday on Ninja Tune.
The new record includes the previously released songs "I Saw," "Tell Somebody," "Geronimo" and "Rice."
“You let the demons out and deal with it. Make sense of it after," said the band's Kayus Bankole of the new record, which marks their first in nearly five years, following 2018's Cocoa Sugar and their Mercury Prize-winning debut album Dead, which was released in 2014.
In addition to the new music, the trio has a tour planned starting later this month in Europe and the U.K.
