“‘Lost Control’ is a cry for help, to put it as bluntly as possible,” says Carter of the new track. “The song sonically resembles my personality and how I deal with emotions. It's a question or a prayer asking whoever is listening to give me a sign, give me anything to hold onto before I lose control."
