Rising artist mp.oxford is heading into the weekend with his dreamy new single "Starlight."

The ethereal new cut arrived Friday, and it's definitely a glimmering pop gem. It comes as the emerging singer has quickly become a Variance favorite, following his debut external heartdrive EP, which arrived last June.

"If you've ever gotten out of a long-term relationship with another human being, the first and biggest question is ultimately: can you find it again," says the Copenhagen-based artist. "And if you do, do you dare believe it? That's what 'starlight' is about. To feel something completely honest and right, but not believing that it really exists – because last time, it disappeared as easily as water out of your hands. But, at the same time, you truly hope that this time you can hold on to it forever."
