Today, we're getting new music from rising music-maker Colin Foster Taylor (simply known as Foster), who has just shared his new single "i tried everything."

The lo-fi hip-hop Tennessean is diving head-first into his feelings with this empathetic, super relatable new track, which features Kailee Morgue and Zaini, while exploring moments of darkness and anxiousness slightly disguised by the glowing melody.

"'i tried everything’ has a special place in my heart," says Foster. "I’ve had an especially rough past year regarding my mental health and this song is exactly how I feel, both lyrically and sonically. On the outside, it’s a playful sounding track, but the inside is filled with very personal and dark lyrics, perfectly representing the quiet struggle I’ve been going through.

He notes: "It’s without a doubt the most personal song I’ve released, and I’m hoping it can bring comfort to those who relate to it, proving they’re not alone.”
