Newcomer emie nathan has released her debut EP, a 7-song project titled white light.

While it's obviously still early in her career, she is making quite the massive entrance with this first effort, which includes previous standouts such as her debut single "no man," which was a Variance favorite when it first arrived, as well as "upstream" and "roses."

"white light is my coming of age story," says the singer. "I talk about my own experiences traversing my early 20s which, to date, have been afflicted with real beauty, challenge and darkness. these songs unpick the last 4-5 years of life, tapping into my innermost thoughts to challenge my own feelings and opinions."
