As they gear up to release their debut album this summer, Yes Please has dropped another new track called "Susie," which is meant to personify the summer fling that pulls you in and pushes you out all at the same time.

"Susie can be so cruel," they declare on the track, which is a hazy, kaleidoscopic blend of shiny pop and the alt-rock world of Glass Animals or Portugal. The Man. As we previously mentioned, the Variance favorites have suggested this eclectic fusion sound is a glimpse of what's on the full album, which is expected later in June.

The new song follows Yes Please's recent new single called "White Knuckles," as well as their standout track "All the Time," which was released back in the fall. They also relesed their 2019 Good Manners, Bad Taste EP last May.

Yes Please is an up-and-coming singer-producer pair made up of Matt Miggz and apob, who have been friends since childhood and began making music at 10 years old. They've worked together and separately in the music industry with the likes of Mac Miller, Mike Dean, Ro Ransom and Travis Scott.
