Emerging artist Restless Modern has released a brand new song called "It's Just Quiet," the first in an ambitious series of new material.

According to the 23-year-old artist, who writes, performs and produces his own music, he plans to release two songs each month for the duration of this year. "It's Just Quiet" is the first of that project.

"Try not to be afraid of failing. Accept the inevitable as an important part of a successful process," he said in a note ahead of the song's release, nodding to his struggles, as an artist and otherwise. While that message is only indirectly threaded through the song itself, it's perhaps a reminder to himself and others to keep going.
